We have been keeping very busy with ministry of all kinds. It has been a privilege to see God work in many ways through our various ministries. One highlight from recent months was Prabha’s ordination, followed by an Easter celebration that was attended by many of our house fellowships in a central location. More than 200 people gathered for our Easter gathering. We were encouraged to see that many of those who joined the faith in the early days of this ministry are still walking with the Lord. Another positive outcome from this gathering was a desire to have similar gatherings once a month from now on.

After nearly two years of Covid restrictions, we are seeing a fresh harvest. A few weeks back, we baptized 11 tribal believers from the house fellowships and one YWAMer who had never received baptism. We look forward to baptizing another 8 people soon. Mary’s tailoring classes continue to do well. Sixty seven students from last year’s three classes have graduated and received certificates. Three new classes have started, including 95 students in three new locations. Mary also lead a seminar in member care during the month of May. There were 24 students and 9 staff. This seminar equips long-term staff to be able to provide care for mission workers in many locations in India. Mary enjoyed spending time with her sister’s family as well as her brother’s family right after the seminar.

As YWAM staff, we receive no salary but must raise our own financial support in order to cover both family and ministry expenses. We have been supported by several faithful families for many years but are now at the point of needing to raise additional funds. We have recently lost some of our biggest supporters, while at the same time experiencing increased expenses now that we have 7 children. We currently have 61% of our budget raised. In order for us to be fully funded, we need to raise an additional amount of at least $900 in regular monthly support.
